What is a Kohi click test?
The name comes from Kohi, a well-known competitive Minecraft PvP server. Players there compared their click speed using a standard 10-second test, and the name stuck. Today, "Kohi test" simply means a 10-second CPS test aimed at Minecraft players.
CPS in Minecraft PvP
In versions before 1.9, faster clicking means more hits, more knockback control and better combos. Newer versions add an attack cooldown, so timing matters more than raw speed. Speed still helps when bridging and placing blocks.
- Under 5 CPS: fine for building and casual play.
- 6–9 CPS: a comfortable, competitive pace for most PvP.
- 10–14 CPS: usually jitter or butterfly clicking, and strong in older-version PvP.
- 15+ CPS: drag-clicking speeds. Check your server's rules, because some limit CPS or ban certain techniques and macros.
Practise smarter
Combine this test with jitter practice and the reaction time test. In real fights, speed only helps if your aim and timing keep up.
